- Hi Efrain,
-
-
- EG> I would like to use the parallel zip drive with my Amiga 500, but it
- EG> will not recognize it. Do I need a driver? Is it possible.
-
- Ha, what an interesting question :) AFAIK in c.s.a.hardware they have
- had quite some discussions about that (although i do not have that subscribed
- [maybe I should])
-
- [ - I maybe completely wrong about this!! - ]
-
- The thing is that the parallel port ZIP drive needs more of the signals that
- the amiga parallel port supports and thus it is unusable for the Amiga parallel
- port :(
- ( I wanted to backup my hd the easy way too, since I know somebody how has
- such a drive and enough media :)
-
- But if it works and there is a driver for it.. please notify me too !!
